      I designed and created this personalised Santa Nice List Medal and Wooden Plaque as a magical Christmas keepsake for children — something that feels authentic, thoughtful, and heirloom-quality rather than a disposable novelty.

Using precision laser engraving and layered materials, I created a double-sided mirrored acrylic medal paired with a laser-engraved wooden plaque that resembles official correspondence from the North Pole. Every detail was carefully considered, from the typography and engraved textures to the balance between shine and warmth.

The piece is fully personalised for each child, making every order unique. The laser allowed me to achieve crisp detail, fine engraving, and consistent quality while still producing each item to order. This design has become a bestseller on Etsy, showing how laser-crafted products can combine storytelling, craftsmanship, and commercial success.

Step 1 – Design & Personalisation
The design begins with a custom layout created for each child, incorporating their name, year, and festive details inspired by traditional North Pole stationery and official Christmas awards. Text placement and spacing are carefully adjusted to ensure clarity and balance on both the medal and plaque.

Step 2 – Material Selection
High-quality laser-grade plywood is selected for the plaque, paired with mirrored gold acrylic for the medal. Satin ribbon is chosen to complement the overall design and enhance the luxury finish.

Step 3 – Laser Engraving & Cutting
Using a precision laser machine, all components are cut and engraved. The plaque is engraved on both sides — one side featuring a personalised letter from Santa, and the reverse designed to resemble official North Pole mail. The medal is laser engraved on both sides for maximum detail and authenticity.

Step 4 – Assembly
Once cut and engraved, each piece is carefully cleaned and assembled by hand. The ribbon is securely attached to the medal, and all components are checked for alignment, finish quality, and engraving clarity.

Step 5 – Quality Check & Finishing
