Description

Stop guessing white underbase and varnish counts. This generator builds a test array for the xTool O1 Omni where every cell has its own white, color and varnish layer counts. Print it once on a scrap of the material you plan to use, hold it under the light, and the winning cell's label tells you the settings for the real job.

What you set

  • Which setting varies across rows and which across columns (white, varnish or color layers), with start, step and count for each
  • Cell size, gap and margin in mm or inches
  • Cell content: a solid color, color bars, a gray gradient, a fine-detail target, or your own image (fit or fill, with an optional color behind it)
  • Labels on every cell and row / column headers, so the printed array explains itself
  • The varnish type (Gloss / Matte) and white ink type to record on the job sheet
  • A preview substrate (black, white, clear, wood, metal, acrylic, or any color) with a rough simulation of opacity and gloss

What you get

  • Open in Studio sends an xTool Studio project with every cell placed and its ink mode and layer counts already set, bound to the O1 Omni in UV flatbed mode. Scan your object, drag the group onto it, print.
  • Download gives the same project plus an SVG with every cell placed, one PNG per cell with real DPI, a headers element, a job sheet listing each element's settings, and a preview image.

Works with the single-head and dual-head O1 Omni. Built for the UV flatbed Flat mode; Texture and Relief tabs are left at their defaults.
