Information

I designed this Your Turn, (not) My Turn coin for those days when you and your significant other can't decide whose turn it is to make coffee. You are always the winner! Keep the coin handy and get your coffee made for you every time! Fits in travel containers too ;)

This is a fun easy project.  Take a piece of basswood that is at least 4.5" wide and 2.5" high. After auto-measuring you piece, position the wood so that the entire design is cut at one time. Use the outline framing function to make sure your piece will cut both pieces at once.

Two passes are the setting, but if you want your design darker, process again.

2

Step2

This is important to look at it prior to moving as you will flip the pieces to engrave on the back, so you don't want to move it and then change your mind.

Once you are satisfied with the engraving, take each piece out.

3

Step3

Take the piece that says, “Your Turn” and position so that on the back, “Not My Turn” will engrave on the back.

Do the same for the other piece.  Make sure to switch each piece after the first engraving so on the front of one piece says, “Your Turn” and on the back will say “Not My Turn”.

4

Step4

Use the outline framing again to line up your pieces so that they are centered and will engrave correctly.

Process the engraving.

Check the engraving color once again and send another process if preferred.

5

Step5

Now you can flip to see who makes the coffee!  It won't be you!
