Description

Make your own Schwibbogen – the traditional candle arch from the Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge) – and cut it on your laser from plywood. Everything is drawn for you: choose the look, add your name, and download laser-ready files in real millimetres.

START FROM A TEMPLATE
Six ready-made looks: Classic Erzgebirge, Miners' arch, Seiffen toy village, Forest with plaque, Child's room and Modern. A template sets the whole design; your material settings and texts stay.

DESIGN
- Arch: round, pointed or flat, 250–700 mm wide, arch band and base height adjustable
- 9 hand-drawn scenes: village with church, winter forest, sleigh ride, miners, reindeer, old town, Seiffen carolers, folk art (Christmas pyramid, candle angel, nutcracker, smoking man) and a modern city skyline
- Arch trim: cloud band with stars, fir branches, both or plain; stars and moon hang on threads
- 5–11 candle holders for wooden candles, LED candles or tea lights
- Optional back layer with hills and a distant village for real depth
- Optional front layer: a low strip in front of the scene that carries your text
- Optional 3D houses: a plug-in kit of 2–4 standing houses on a stage in front of the arch, with a hole under each house for an LED

PERSONALISE
- Name, place or year in the base, cut out or engraved, in five fonts (script, elegant, blackletter, gothic, sans serif)
- A plaque with a year or name, hanging in the arch or as a separate tag with a ribbon hole
- A dedication engraved on the back of the base – an extra file tells the laser where, after you flip the part into its own hole

BUILT TO WORK
- Real millimeters, red lines cut, blue areas engraved
- Joints match your material (3–6 mm), kerf and play: the feet slide in crosswise, holders push onto tenons, no glue needed for the arch
- Every plate is one piece: small loose parts are tied in automatically and thin webs are avoided
- Cable pass-through under the feet for LED lighting
- Parts laid out on sheets the size of your laser bed (default xTool S1, 430 × 390 mm)
- Material need and an estimated laser time before you export
- Download includes an assembly guide in English or German

VIEWS
Design view with wood grain and candles, cut sheets exactly as exported, and a 3D preview of the assembled arch.

Tip: cut one foot and one candle holder first to check the fit on your plywood. LED candles are recommended – wood burns.
