Laser Engraved Wooden Celtic Design Heart Shaped Decorative Ring Box in walnut

Using a piece of walnut wood,  engrave the design for the lid.  Then cut out the design. You can make the design as tall as you want by adding in more layers. The box can be made in any size. Be careful to adjust the sizes of your holes depending on the ring size. Keep the small circles that are cut out to make the plugs on the bottom of the lid.

Lightly sand to make smooth.

Use the cut out piece of wood with the 3 small holes as a template  to glue the 3 small circular pieces of wood to the lid. Once dry glue the base and the middle pieces together. Once dry oil the wood.

Cut out a small piece of felt for the inside on the box to protect the ring and glue into place.

The lid should fit neatly to the base.
