Information

      I created this Ring Box for my Wife's 40th Anniversary Ring.  She loves antiques and this special box brings together Her Love for Antiques and my Love for Her.  We have now been married for over 40 years and love is like an antique, it only gets better over the years.  The type of wood gives it an antique look and the engraving sends my special message to her.  The smile on her face is all I need.

Step1: Outer Box Cutout and Assembling

  1. First cutout the outer box (setting are shown in the template)
  2. Lay the box and lid out to glue (Wood Glue)
  3. Glue and assemble
  4. Clamp or tape the box together and then do the same for the lid
  5. Note:  Insure there is not glue on the inter part of the box or lid (glue can obstruct the inner box)
  6. Once dry lightly sand

Step2: Inner Box Cutout and Assembling

  1. Next cutout the inner box (Setting are shown in the template)
  2. Lay the box out to glue (Wood Glue)
  3. Glue and assemble
  4. Clamp or tape the box together
  5. Once dry lightly sand

Step3: Final Assembling

  1. Final assembly is to lightly glue and inserting the inner box into the outer box.  This will give you the edge to hold the lid in place.

I cut a small block of packing foam and covered it with felt
