Convert Artwork into Screen-Print Halftones
Turn color or continuous-tone artwork into a one-color pattern that visually recreates highlights and shadows. Use it to prepare portraits, illustrations, band graphics, botanical art, and other designs for apparel and paper printing.

Knock Out Background Colors
Set the artwork color and background separately so the image works with the intended garment, paper, or ink. A clean knockout can isolate the printable subject and reduce unwanted color blocks before the design reaches production.
Use a transparent-looking preview to check edges and negative space around the artwork.
Set LPI and Dot Angle
Choose coarse dots for bold, visibly textured graphics or finer dots when a portrait needs more tonal detail. Rotate the dot angle to control pattern direction and reduce awkward alignments across faces, curves, and gradients.
Test the pattern at the intended print size rather than evaluating it only at screen zoom.
Export at Print Width and High DPI
Enter the real print width and choose 300, 450, or 600 DPI so the output is built for the final dimensions. This helps keep the pattern consistent when the artwork moves into a screen-print, transfer, or layout workflow.
