Description

Design Japanese kumiko lattice panels and cut them on your xTool laser: for lamps, screens, wall panels and doors.

Start from one of 14 templates or build your own: choose the size, the grid of triangles or squares, the cell size and the motif. Asanoha, goma-gara, sakura, kikkō, mitsukude, yae-zakura, kaku-asanoha, hishi and kaku-hishi, alone or mixed in a checker, a centre and border, or a random pattern you can reshuffle. Density subdivides each cell for a finer lattice.

Two ways to build:
- One sheet: the whole lattice is cut in a single piece that always stays connected. No gluing, no assembly.
- Jigumi: the authentic way, with strips half-lapped into a grid and flat inserts pressed into each cell. Strips are engraved with codes and numbered, with the laying order in the guide.

Make it bigger, make it glow:
- Modular tiles, square or hexagonal, sized automatically to fill a wall with the fewest pieces your bed can cut, joined with dovetails, puzzle knobs or butterfly keys.
- An outer frame with finger-jointed walls and tenons, and an LED light box with opal diffuser, spacer layers, cable hole and keyholes for hanging.
- Preview the front view, a 3D model with exploded view, and the cut sheets, in hinoki, birch plywood, walnut, black MDF or white acrylic.

Ready for the laser:
- Parts nested on your machine bed (xTool M2, S1, P2S, P3, F1 or custom), one file per sheet and material, 1:1 in millimetres.
- Red lines cut, blue engraves the part codes. Kerf compensation applied once to every outline, with adjustable joint play and an optional fit-test comb.
- An assembly PDF with the parts list, steps, strip order and sheet maps, plus a CSV parts list.
