We are excited to announce the release of Atomm V2.1! This update introduces improvements across five key areas, from easier tool discovery and enhanced 3D content viewing to better sharing and reuse of AI creations—along with the launch of Christmas Ornament Generator and Design Extraction Extraction Tool. Together, these enhancements make exploring, finding inspiration, and creating on Atomm smoother and more efficient than ever.
Here are the main updates:
I. Creative Lab Upgrade: Tools Are Clearer and Easier to Access & New Tools Launched
We’ve optimized the structure of Creative Lab to make Atomm’s creation tools more clearly organized and easier to understand.
- A new tool-switching experience allows you to browse and move between different tools more intuitively;
- Ornament Generator and Design Extraction Tool are now available;
👉1.Structure Optimization: You can now find the right tool faster and jump straight into creation.
👉2. New Generator: Ornament Generator，you can now create an ornament efficiently.

- Feature: Creativelab now includes a Ornament Generator, through which you can freely combine outlines, elements, and text to make your own Christmas ornament in a short time.
- Usage: In Creative lab, find the Ornament Generator and start your creation following the 5 steps below:
Step 1. Choose an ornament outline.
Step 2. Select Elements. Make sure all added elements are connected to the outline or other elements.
Step 3. Select Fonts and Type. Tips: you can add a rectangle or other shapes to connect the text with the outline.
Step 4. You can also use AI to generate all kinds of elements you want—our dedicated AI workflow ensures the results are closed-path designs, making them perfect for creating Christmas ornaments.
Step 5. Prepare for processing. Download your design in .svg here or import it directly into xTool Studio for further processing. Make sure all added elements are connected before processing.
👉3. New Image Tool：Design-extraction，Extract engraving-ready vector line art from any image, making it easy to turn finished photos into laser-ready files or recreate existing designs for secondary processing.

- Feature: We’ve introduced a dedicated Design Extraction Tool. Simply upload an image and select the area you want—Engraving Mode instantly converts it into clean, editable vector paths, while Print Mode extracts patterns and textures from the image.
- Access: Navigate to Creative lab.
- Usage: In Creative lab, find the Design Extration and follow the steps below:
Step 1. Upload an image
Step2. Select a region and describe what you want to extract (optional). By default, Engraving Mode extracts line work; you can also switch to Print Mode to extract patterns and textures.

II. 3D Projects You Can Actually See
Atomm now supports a complete browsing experience for 3D projects:
- You can upload and browse projects that include 3D canvas.
- Project detail pages now support direct 3D canvas previews.
III. AImake creations are now easier to learn from and remix:
- When publishing a project with an XCS file that contains AImake-generated images, creators can choose whether to share the prompts used during creation.
- If prompt sharing is enabled, an AImake section will be displayed on the project page, showcasing the generation details and helping other users learn how to use AImake effectively.
- Remix: Other users can instantly create new works based on the shared AImake image and prompts with one click.
- Note: For paid projects, detailed AImake prompts and Remix access are available only after purchase.
IV. Stability & Bug Fixes
- Fixed issues with AImake generation progress and output.
- Resolved cases where image generation could get stuck at 95% or 99%, or where the progress indicator disappeared and no image was generated.
- Fixed issues where vector outputs were difficult to select or download.
- These problems have been addressed in the current release, with improved stability and more reliable generation and export behavior across different scenarios.
