Ooops, I messed up and didn't engrave part of my design. How to fix it.

Information
I have ran a few projects since I've had my laser engraver and forgot to set the laser correctly for part of the design. In most cases, I simply left the power at 1%. The rest of the job ran perfect, but like in the picture of this How-To, a part is missing. In this tutorial, I'll show you how I have corrected this mistake without wasting the project.
Instruction
Step1: Correct the File
The first step is to correct the section of the file that was mistakenly left out. Be sure to leave the work piece in place on the laser.
Step2: Skip what was already engraved.

The problem with running the job again is that the parts we already engraved can't be engraved over again. The engraving might be too deep or over burned. The key is that we want to skip over those parts and just engrave the part that wasn't engraved on the first run.
At first thought we might just select all other parts and change the settings to “ignore”. The only problem with this is that it would change the alignment. To work around this issue, we will leave the outermost vector, in this project it is it is the outline which was cut out. I don't want to cut it again, so I'll set the power to just 1% and run up the speed to 140mm/s to speed through that part of the job. We will then set all of the other vectors to ignore. By doing these steps we will maintain the alignment.
Step3: Rerun the project

With the changes made to the file, the project should run fairly quick as we are just engraving the part left out.
