Easter Chain Decoration

The easter files #1 and #7 provided by xTool were perfect for this

I used the same font to create "Easter" with each letter in a separate text box

I added some circles on top of the easter egg's inner designs and used “combine” to make a solid surface.  Then I added 1mm circles at the top and bottom for my wire (you may need this to be larger for your wire so I recommend measuring your O-rings or string with calipers).  Those get subtracted from the egg so it has a hole at the top and bottom.  

Now you need 11 copies, one for each letter.  Those can be vertically and horizontally aligned to each letter.  Make sure that the eggs are in the back (use “send to back”, if needed).  Next you will select each letter and egg combination and “subtract”.  Lastly, I added a 1mm bar across the letters that have inner parts (A, P, R) and used “combine” to make sure that those parts won't fall out when we cut them.

You will need to decide how many different colors you would like your sign to be.  I picked 3 xTool acrylic colors and assigned letters to each color.

I chose to hook my letters together using o-rings but you can use string or other materials if you'd prefer.  The extra cut out letters are super cute so I think I will reuse them for a separate project and sign.

Now you just need to decide where you want to hang it!  This turned out so cute and my family LOVED it.  Perfect for Easter!
