Designing these plates with the initial is very simple, you just have to follow the following steps: 

• Insert a circle of 60 or 70 mm (these are 70). Make a copy. 
• From the copy, create the outline at -3. Select both shapes and click on combine and subtract in superposition. 
• Insert a 5mm circle. We place it on top of the base and centered. We place the ring on top just to check that the hole is not going to be covered. We separate the hoop from the base again. 
• We select the base and the hole and click on combine and subtract in superimposition. 
• We insert text and choose the typography. I have chosen "Gorditas". We adapt the text to the size inside the hoop. We write the letters we want.

We have the design ready. 

We choose scrap booking paper that we don't like and we are going to cut some squares a little larger than the circles we are going to take out. 

We glue the pieces of paper on the MDF board, we pass a rolling pin over it so that the paper adheres well. 

Let it dry. 

We choose the material, select all the shapes and hit it to cut. 

We turn on the Xtool, place the MDF board inside, adjust the height of the laser, check the parameters and hit start. 

Let the Xtool cut the shapes on each square. 

Once we have all the pieces we are going to proceed to assemble them. 

You can glue the hoops like this or paint them. I painted them with pale pink chalk paint. 

Once the rings are dry, we are going to glue them on the base. Then we will glue the letter inside. Let it stick well. 

Finally we are going to use some colored rings. 

We have our initial plates ready!
