It's almost 1 month until christmas so it's time to prepare presents (if you don't want to stress out like me) Fot that I created my first wooden gift tag with a space to add the name for the person.

Step1: Idea & Design
Christmas is only 1 month away so it's time to create some little gift tags to decorate presents.
Thats why I designed this little gnome with an Area to write a name to which this present belongs.
Its a simple made illustration to have the possibility to color it in and use it as a fun activity with kids in a preparation phase or for a project in shool or kindergarden.
Step2: Laser Settings
So this design includes Cut & Engrave. Make sure to secure your wood and to get better designs lightly spray some water onto the surface. That can reduce some brunt edges if you don't own a air assist.
Step3: Coloring
So if you like you can color this tags in before using them. I used some waterbased markers. That way they get into the wood a bit and don't sit on top of it like acrylic paints. But of course you can do that too.
Step4: Final Look
Only whats left is to add the name and then pull some string or band through the holes. Now it's looking like the gnome is holding the string around the present together.
