Skull Decoration on Wood

For this design I used an images as reference and only drawed the harsh lines of the skull.

Then I imported the image into XCS to use yet again the image tracing feature. I’m still impressed how good this is. 

This way I have a lot more control over the final look of the engraving.

You could set your settings and use the image as engraving but i’m not sure how different the results are going to be. But you could try.

For this one I suggest my risers how to if you also using the M1 with riser base. It’s on my profile.

This way you can use the internal scan to get the distance right. But make sure to set to baseplate removed inside XCS.

This is a fun project you can use to create your halloween decoration. I’m not doing ot for just one day events but now I have at least a small one.
