Information

This jig is designed for the FxUltra series of lasers. It will brace the RA3 Rotary tool in the perfect center of the "Y" axis but allow the tool to slide along the "X" axis to permit perfect placement of your material under the laser for focusing and processing. The cross brace can be moved to allow for fairly extreme off axis placement of the RA3 for longer cylinders

Instruction

1

Step1: Just cut out and engrave the 3 pieces...

I used acrylic, but any ¼ inch or 6mm material will work fine for this jig.

There are three pieces:  The Front Brace, The Back Brace, and The Cross Brace

2

Step2: Secure the Braces to the Fx Ultra laser base plate

Use (4) 10mm M4 screws to anchor the Front and Back Braces to the Fx Ultra laser base as shown in the pictures.

Use (2) 15mm M4 screws to anchor the cross brace at the desired location as shown in the pictures.  The RA3 base plate will fit snugly between the two braces and still be able to slide along the X-Axis. Tightening down the cross brace will firmly secure the RA3 in the desired location.
