Information

      I made this Plate, so it can either be 3D Printed or Cut on the M2 laser.

It covers Almost all of the baseplate on the F2 ultra laser's.

It keeps the stock 35mm square grid holes but also add's extra holes that can be Tapped with an M4 tap.

Some holes are meant to be 4.1mm - these do not need to be tapped and will use existing threads in the baseplate.

The rest/majority of holes need to be 3.4mm - these will be tapped to M4. 

Anything higher than 3.44 and you may not get good threads.

It will fit the F1 Ultra but the Lid will not close completely.

Step1

Compatability: This can be cut on any gantry laser.

Important : When engraving the Crosshairs in the middle, place a alu business card under the plate, so you don't engrave the baseplate!

The purpose of this baseplate is to protect the laser's base surface during engraving. It uses the same hole spacing as the laser's base plate, so you can still place your other jigs on top.

You can also use this to square your RA3 rotary tool.!

1. Material selection:

I have tried this with Both Gold to Black acrylic and Just standard Black acrylic.

Engrave the central crosshairs on your Fiber laser or the laser, that you will be using the baseplate on.

Do not Not engrave it on the machine used to cut the plate if possible.
