The idea was first to engrave a mirror with a portrait. Since the mirror was now partially translucent, I wanted to illuminate it from behind.
The idea of the portrait to the illuminated mirror.
I had a portrait improved with AI support (grayscale and contrast). Then the portrait was lasered mirror-inverted onto the back of the mirror. Then a matching box was built from beech strips, a back wall was placed on top with plywood and the complete box was glazed. glued a short LED strip to the upper and lower inner wall of the box, prepared it for a 12V power supply and finally glued in the mirror.
