Information

      Create a clean, crisp engraving on a 40oz powder-coated tumbler using a two-stage process. The blue laser removes the outer coating and reveals the metal beneath, followed by the IR laser to refine the design, clean up the exposed surface and produce a sharper, more professional finish.

Instruction

Step1

Secure the 40oz tumbler on the rotary attachment and ensure it is level, correctly focused and framed.

Run the design using the blue laser first:

Power: 100%

Speed: 130

Lines: 300

Do not move or reposition the tumbler after the blue laser pass.

Switch to the IR laser and run the second pass using the IR settings already included in the project file. Keep the design in exactly the same position.

Once complete, wipe the engraved area with a clean cloth and isopropyl alcohol to remove any remaining residue.

Always complete a small material test first, as tumbler coatings can vary.
