Turn a picture into something you can actually build

Drop in a photo or a drawing — or start from one of six templates — and get a fuse bead pattern with every number you need before you open a single bag of beads. It all runs in your browser; your image never leaves it.

Know the cost before you start

The moment your image lands, you get the whole picture:

• Finished size in millimetres
• Exact bead count, and how many colours you'll need to buy
• How many pegboards the piece spans, and where the seams fall
• Whether it fits one heat press, or how many sections it takes
• How many pages the chart prints on

Built from the beads you own

Tick off the colours in your box and the pattern is built from those only — no chart that calls for a bead you can't get. Four standard bead ranges are built in, 483 colours in total, in Mini (2.6 mm), Midi (5 mm) and Maxi (10 mm).

Set your pegboard size to whatever you actually have, and the chart marks the seams so you know where one board ends and the next begins.

A chart you can work from

A 300 DPI PNG, ready to print:

• Colour code in every cell — or a number, a symbol for black-and-white printing, or nothing at all
• A ruler down both edges so you never lose your place
• A heavier line every ten cells, in a colour you can change when the artwork is dark
• A legend with the count for each colour and the total

Three page layouts: fit the whole thing on one page, keep the codes big enough to read on paper, or set the cell size yourself. Prints on A4 or Letter, and splits across pages by itself when it has to.

See it before you commit

Three views of the same pattern: the printed chart, the loose beads as they sit on the board, and a 3D preview of the finished fused piece. Drag to turn it, scroll to zoom, hold Shift to move it around.

It tells you what it changed

Every pass that alters your image says so, and tells you the setting that would undo it:

• Details thinner than one bead vanish at small sizes — it names the size that keeps them
• Near-identical colours get merged, so you buy 12 colours instead of 15
• Single stray beads get trimmed, because they fall off after pressing
• The background gets removed, and it warns you before the tolerance starts eating your subject
