Instruction

Step1: Download and Re-Size

Download the File

 

Resize the SVG to match your material. 

 

I made my sign 8"x10"

This makes it larger than the work area for the machine.

Step2: Place Acrylic Onto Bed

Using the included placement jig, I placed the sheet onto the be for a repeatable alignment.

Step3: Flip the Image 180

Because of the large size of the sheet vs the size of the machine we have to get a little creative.

 

Now I want to engrave the top area first. 

 

To do this I'll actually be engraving upside down from the outermost edge into the machine.

Now to process the bottom of the sign we must rotate 180 degrees again. 

 

This time we will only be doing the lower section of the SVG

 

The SVG will need to be rotated to match the acrylic.

Now I will let my community decide where I will donate this sign. It gives the community a chance to interact and get to know you. 

The overall Cost to make was $4.35
