These User Conduct Guidelines apply to all users of Atomm and to all content they create, upload or otherwise make available on the platform, including but not limited to projects, tutorials, design files, comments, images, videos and messages.

Together with the "User Agreement", "Privacy Policy" and "Content Standards", these Guidelines form the overall rule framework that governs how you may use Atomm. In the event of any inconsistency between these documents, Atomm reserves the right to make the final interpretation. Mandatory laws and regulations in your place of residence take precedence over any conflicting provision in these Guidelines, but this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

We use a combination of human moderation and technical measures to apply these standards fairly and to maintain a safe, inclusive and vibrant creative community. Our goal is to balance community safety with respect for creators' freedom of expression.

Community Etiquette and General User Conduct

Respectful and Civil Communication

Users are expected to maintain basic respect and courtesy. The following behaviour is not allowed:

  • Personal attacks, insults, defamation, harassment or threatsVulgar, obscene, hateful or deliberately provocative language
  • Content that promotes discrimination or hatred based on nationality, race, ethnicity, region or culture
  • Targeting others with mockery, exclusion or coordinated attacks simply because you disagree with their views

Inclusiveness and Diversity

Atomm welcomes users from all backgrounds, skill levels and cultures. Beginners' questions deserve patient guidance, and contributions from more experienced makers should be treated with respect.

Privacy and Personal Information

The following behaviour is not allowed:

  • Disclosing another person's real name, address, phone number, email, ID or other sensitive data without their consent
  • Doxxing, exposing private information or stalking others offline
  • Sharing screenshots, photos or other content that reveal someone's private information without proper masking
  • Any dispute or legal liability arising from a user's voluntary disclosure of their own personal information will be borne by that user

AI-Based Impersonation and Deepfakes

You may not use AI tools to generate or modify content in order to impersonate others, including but not limited to:

  • Using AI to fake someone else's avatar, name, voice, style or a brand logo
  • Creating "deepfake" content that attacks, defames or humiliates a person or organization
  • Using AI to generate fake project photos or results in order to mislead other users

Atomm may label, remove or limit the distribution of such content.

Community Interaction Guidelines

These rules govern how you interact with content on Atomm and help maintain a healthy engagement environment.

  • Likes, Favorites and Downloads: You are encouraged to use likes, favorites and downloads to highlight content you find valuable. Any attempt to artificially inflate likes, favorites or download counts, or to manipulate rankings for personal gain, is prohibited.
  • Comments and Replies: Constructive feedback and genuine discussion are welcome. Meaningless spam, personal attacks, disclosure of private information and unrelated advertising are not allowed in comments or replies.
  • Downloads and Use of Content: When you download content, you must comply with the specific license or usage terms attached to that content. Unauthorized copying, redistribution or commercial use that goes beyond the applicable license is prohibited.
  • Reports and Flagging: Reports should be based on facts and used to help maintain a healthy community environment. Malicious, false or retaliatory reports are not allowed.

Guidelines for Social Features

These rules govern how you use social features on Atomm when interacting with other users.

  • Follows and Followers: Following other users helps you build a personalized feed of content. Using bots or other abusive methods to inflate follower counts is prohibited.
  • Mentions (@): Mentions are intended to notify specific users in comments or posts. Repeatedly @-mentioning someone to harass them, organize pile-ons or otherwise engage in targeted abuse is not allowed.

Content Creation and Publishing Guidelines

When you publish content on Atomm, you must comply with these Guidelines as well as the "Content Standards and Definitions" and the "Creator Conduct Guidelines".

Project Upload Requirements:

  • All content must meet the quality requirements set out in the "Content Standards and Definitions" (for example, real photos of the finished project, a complete tutorial and a clear materials list). Content that does not meet these requirements may fail review and will not be published.
  • You must choose the correct upload type (Original / Remix). Misrepresenting content as your own original creation is strictly prohibited. Content that is marked as Remix but only makes minor changes to someone else's project (for example simple scaling, cropping, recoloring, swapping graphics, minor simplification or adding/removing a bit of text) may be treated as a violation and removed.
  • You may not upload projects that could damage equipment, create safety risks or mislead users.
  • You must upload a complete, usable set of design files. It is not allowed to split one complete design into multiple separate projects simply to increase the number of uploads.
  • Any content involving adult themes must be clearly marked as NSFW. Content that uses AI-generated elements must be clearly labeled as such and must be based on something you have actually produced and tested in the real world.

Encouraging Complete Projects:

  • We strongly encourage creators to share complete projects that cover the full making process from design to finished project. Projects that only contain raw design files or AI-generated images without real-world making and verification may be shown less prominently or be ineligible for recommendation.

Paid Content and Creator Responsibilities:

  • Pricing of paid content: Creators must set fair prices for paid content and ensure the value provided matches the price. It is prohibited to induce purchases through false claims, exaggerated promises or other misleading promotion.
  • Updates and version management: Creators are responsible for maintaining their content, fixing errors and clearly indicating change logs when updates are made. It is not allowed to repeatedly upload essentially identical paid content with only minor tweaks in order to gain more exposure or revenue.
  • Q&A and support: Creators are encouraged to provide reasonable explanations and support in the comments, especially for paid content, so that users can successfully make use of what they have purchased.

Infringing, Plagiarized, Deceptive, Low-Quality or Non-Original Content

To protect the rights of original creators and maintain a healthy content ecosystem, the following behaviours are strictly prohibited:

  • Direct infringement: Uploading, distributing or adapting any content that infringes the intellectual property rights (including but not limited to copyright, trademarks and patents) or personal rights (such as portrait rights in photos of real people) of others, without proper authorization.
  • Passing off others' creations as original: Publishing projects that have already been released by others (on Atomm or on external platforms) and presenting them as your own original creations after only minor changes. This includes, for example:
    • creating derivative content based on another creator's project without permission and claiming it as original;
    • making only non-substantive edits to an existing project (such as small changes to patterns, colors or dimensions) and publishing it as a "new" project.
  • Duplicate and low-quality publishing: Uploading large numbers of repetitive, highly similar or low-quality projects in order to gain credits, exposure or other benefits. Typical abusive behaviour includes:
    • repeatedly reusing the same process and design concept (for example coasters, keychains) and only changing text or tiny details in the artwork to publish dozens of separate projects;
    • maliciously splitting what is essentially one series or one coherent design into many separate uploads.
  • Uploading non-original content that is substantially similar to an existing project.
  • Exaggerating the capabilities or effects of a project, using misleading terms such as "best" or "official", or adding irrelevant tags in order to gain traffic.

Credits Rewards Guidelines

  • Earning credits: Projects must pass platform review before any credits are granted. If a project is taken down or deleted, Atomm may revoke the corresponding credits.
  • No cheating for credits: Any attempt to obtain credits by abusive technical or non-technical means is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • uploading duplicate, low-quality or non-original content;
    • using AI tools to submit fake projects, such as rendering "finished" photos to pretend you have physically done the project;
    • operating multiple accounts to game the system (for example "farming rewards" through fake interactions, artificial downloads or buying from yourself);
    • exploiting technical vulnerabilities or any other illegal method to manipulate data;
    • any other behaviour that Atomm reasonably determines to be "cheating".
  • It is prohibited to use multiple accounts to obtain new-user Credits or other new-user rewards.
  • Atomm may investigate and revoke any credits obtained through the above violations, and may take further action against the related accounts depending on the severity of the behaviour. Atomm reserves all rights with respect to the issuance, revocation and interpretation of rules governing credits on the platform.

Commerce and Transactions Guidelines

These rules are intended to keep Atomm's paid content ecosystem healthy and fair.

  • Purchases and Payments:
    Users must purchase digital content only through the official payment methods provided by Atomm. To protect the legitimate rights and interests of both buyers and sellers, any attempt to induce or require users to engage in off-platform private transactions is prohibited.
  • Understanding Digital Products:
    Before you make a purchase, you should ensure that you fully understand the nature of digital products. Once your purchase has been completed, any related issues will be handled in accordance with Atomm's "Digital Content Refund Policy".
  • Ratings and Reviews:
    Ratings and reviews must be based on genuine user experience. Submitting fake positive reviews, malicious negative reviews, or using reviews as a means of pressure or extortion is strictly prohibited.
  • Creator Earnings and Withdrawals:
    Income that creators earn from compliant content on Atomm is protected by the platform. It is prohibited to obtain income through cheating, fraud, or any other illegal or abusive means.
  • Cross-Platform Sales:
    However, to keep activity on Atomm fair and orderly, it is not permitted to use project descriptions, images or comments to drive users directly to other platforms for transactions. (for example, statements such as "go to XX site to buy it cheaper").

Intellectual Property Rules

  • Creator responsibility:
    When you upload content to Atomm, you must ensure that it is either your own original work or fully authorized for the way it will be used and shared on the platform.
  • License compliance:
    When you reuse or build on existing models or projects, you must comply with the original license terms (for example, Creative Commons licenses such as CC BY, BY-SA, BY-ND, etc.) whenever you remix, adapt or redistribute that content.

Additional Rules for Paid Content:

  • Higher quality expectations:
    Paid content must offer clear added value through originality, complexity or unique usefulness, and should include thorough documentation, tutorials and, where appropriate, reasonable after-sales support.
  • Prohibited practices:
    It is not allowed to set low-value, common-knowledge content or minor edits to someone else's creations as paid content.
  • Honest transactions:
    Price manipulation, deceptive pricing, false promotions or promises that cannot be fulfilled are strictly prohibited.

Responsibilities of Users of Paid Content:

  • Users must strictly follow the license terms attached to the content. Unauthorized copying, redistribution, resale or attempts to bypass technical protections on paid content are strictly prohibited.
  • After purchase, you may not publicly share the full core design files of paid content.

Regulated and Prohibited Items

It is strictly prohibited to upload projects that relate to any of the following, including but not limited to:

  • Real firearms, ammunition, explosives and their components, or designs that can be easily converted into such items;
  • Drugs, tools or equipment for producing drugs, or devices used for consuming drugs;
  • Gambling devices, tools or equipment used for cheating in gambling;
  • Eavesdropping devices, covert cameras, illegal surveillance equipment or any disguised housings, mounts or fixtures used to conceal such devices;
  • Any other weapons, hazardous materials or specialized equipment that are regulated or prohibited under applicable laws and regulations.

Account and Profile Management Guidelines

These rules are intended to maintain the integrity and security of your account.

  • Profile information:
    Your avatar, display name and bio should appropriately represent you. You must not impersonate another person, represent yourself as Atomm or its staff, or use someone else's image in a way that infringes their portrait or image rights.
  • Account security:
    You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Sharing, lending or transferring your account to others is not allowed.
  • Separate accounts principle:
    Each Atomm account is treated as a separate individual account. We do not support account merging, combining historical data or pooling resources across accounts. All credits, projects, earnings and other assets are tied to the current account and cannot be transferred to another account.

Platform Event Participation Guidelines

  • Eligibility:
    By taking part in any event organized on Atomm, you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to that event's official rules.
  • Relevance of submissions:
    Entries must be closely related to the event theme. Uploading content that is unrelated to the theme is not allowed.
  • Originality and tool use:
    • Entries must be original. Plagiarizing or copying other people's work is prohibited.
    • If an event allows the use of AI tools, you must clearly disclose this in the project description. Using AI tools to cheat or gain unfair advantage is not allowed.
  • Accounts and conduct:
    You must not use fake registrations, disposable email addresses or multiple linked accounts to participate maliciously, manipulate votes or otherwise undermine the fairness of any event.

Payouts, Taxes and Withdrawals

Payout of Earnings

  • Payout methods:
    The platform currently supports withdrawals via Stripe (recommended), PayPal or bank transfer.
  • Fees:
    You are responsible for any fees charged during the withdrawal process.

  • Settlement entity and currency:
    The Atomm platform is operated by Makeblock Europe B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands. To streamline payment processing and comply with local regulations, payouts may be made to you by our affiliated entities in different regions. Funds will be automatically converted and settled in a currency supported by the payout account you use.

Handling Transaction Disputes

  • Nature of digital products:
    You acknowledge that once digital content has been delivered, it cannot be physically returned. All purchase decisions should therefore be made with care.
  • Refund policy:
    Transaction disputes will be handled in accordance with Atomm's "Digital Content Refund Policy". In general, refunds may only be considered where the content is unusable or materially inconsistent with its description, and where the issue cannot be resolved through reasonable support from the creator.
  • Platform decisions:
    After investigating a transaction dispute, Atomm will make the final determination on how the case is resolved.

To protect system security and ensure a stable experience for all users, the following behaviour is prohibited:

  • using crawlers, scripts or bots to scrape or download data from Atomm in bulk;
