Problems you may encounter in xTool Creative Space v1.0
1. Following the XCS V1.0 software update, the Outline feature no longer outlines the inside of the graphics, instead displaying only the outer contour. This was not an issue in previous versions. What is causing this, and how can I fix it?
– In order to support outline extraction for vector graphics, XCS 1.0 adopted a new outline algorithm. That’s why the outline function now only outlines the exterior of a graphic but not the interior. The next version of XCS (V1.1) will support extracting the interior outline of hollow bitmaps.

2. Typeface list shows “No Data” and “Open project” does not work
– We have fixed the problems by adding a new patch. Update XCS to the latest version(1.0.19).
3. Where can I get the tutorial for cut pressure calibration?
– You can check this page for instructions: How do I perform cut pressure calibration on xTool M1?
Also, please make sure you have updated the firmware to the latest version. Otherwise, even if you click the calibration button, the function will not be enabled.
4. [D1 10w/20w/M1] Machine did not engrave before cutting.
– We’ve improved the order of processing in XCS V1.0, which allows you to engrave before cutting. But for some complex images, the order may be disrupted. If you have this problem, please send the project file to [email protected] so that we can fix it asap.
5. When I open the project file saved in XCS beta versions in V1.0, the text in the file is deformed and the font is restored to a default one.
– Due to an upgrade in the overall technical solution of text related function in XCS V1.0. The text saved in prior versions may not be compatible with XCS V1.0. That’s the reason for deformed text. 6. When imported to XCS, SVG/ DXF files cannot be parsed correctly, and there are lags during the process.
– We’ve been working on problems related to SVG/ DXF files ever since XCS Beta 6. Most of the problems are solved, but due to the following reasons, there still might be some problems:
- The design drawing is too complex while the computer’s performance is not good enough.
- The project file used is not in standard format.
The fact is, even LightBurn and Adobe cannot guarantee 100% file parsing success rate.
