Farol de madera centro de mesa con paneles de gresite personalizado

Considering that I wanted to participate in this important contest, and with the materials I had at my fingertips I decided to use only two materials wood and mosaic tile for opaque and customizable screen according to the occasion that is needed.

The design and assembly is very simple since it does not have complex shapes, e.g. it is like assembling a common wooden box only that on each side it has a grid matrix adjusted to the size of the tiles that in this case are 12 pieces but you can place as many as you want.

The process of engraving the tiles is carried out with a piece of grid similar to the panels that make up the lantern, only that it is covered in aluminum tape so that the passage of the laser does not burn the engraving shaper.

It has been painted with dyes of wuenge and embero, with details of copper-colored pigmented uv resin in the stars of the chasm 

I came up with this idea to make with the resources I had at hand in the case of the tiles I have not seen anything that has been used to make a screen on a table and I thought it was a good idea, framing it in a matrix grid, adjusted to the measurements of the pressed glass tiles since they have a soft transparency to the light.
