Information

      In this How-To you will add a grid to your F1 base plate. The grid is at 10mm intervals and will make alignment from XCS to your machine easier especially when using the mobile app. 
NOTE: THIS WILL PERMANENTLY MARK YOUR F1 BASE PLATE AND CAN NOT BE REMOVED. MAKE SURE YOU REALLY WANT THIS GRID BEFORE YOU RUN THE FILES.

Step1: Clean your base plate

Make sure your base plate is clean and free of any debris. I wiped mine down with a little rubbing alcohol.

Step2: focus your laser

Focus your laser on your base plate, this can be done manually or by using the autofocus.

Step3: Run the project file

Run both canvases, first run canvas 1 IR at 100% at 8mm/sec, and then run the second canvas running blue light at 100% power at 8mm/sec.

NOTE: THIS WILL PERMANENTLY MARK YOUR BASE PLATE AND CAN NOT BE UNDONE. MAKE SURE YOU REALLY WANT A GRID MARKED ONTO YOUR F1.
