To design the keyrings we only have to follow these steps: 

• We design the shape of the keychain. In this case we will insert a rectangle with the measurements of the leather and a circle with the measurement of the ring. We place it as in the drawing, select both shapes and click on combine and join. Now we have the shape of the keychain ready, 
• now we just have to insert the text we want, adjust its size and choose the typography.  For the keychains in the photos I chose the typography "Joseph and Sophia" but there are many others that look very nice like "Amellia", "Asterik", "Chiba", "Farmhouse", "Frosty Snowy", "Handwritten" or "Maddison". It's all you have to try and use whatever you like. Once chosen, we will place it in the desired position to record. 

Steps to follow with your D1 pro, with other models the first step is not necessary to do it since other models have a camera or the laser marks where it is going to record. 

• We turn on the Xtool and place and piece of cardboard. Let's mark the shapes of the keychains. We will make as many marks as keychains we want to engrave. The most important thing is to select absolute coordinates because if we don't do it we won't get it right. We select the shapes (remove the names) and hit mark and select the kraft material. We hit it to start.
• Once we have marked the shapes, we are going to place the keychains on top of each of them. We are going to attach them on the ring part and on the far right with a little masking tape so that they do not move during engraving. We add the names and select to record with the following parameters (power: 35, speed: 100, steps: 1, lines: 100). Pay attention to the colors of the keys when placing the names, so that the name we want appears in each color. 
• We hit start and let the machine engrave the keychains. 

Once the machine has finished engraving all the keychains we will have them ready. 

Note: I like to wipe them with a cotton cloth with alcohol to clean the leather of impurities.
