I offer you this test grid, made with the F 2 Ultra UV, I was just doing my classic test grid, when I notice, that there is gold appearing, so I redid this test grid, to refine and find the right parameters, to have a beautiful gold and I ended up finding the right parameter.
I'm delighted, so I made a realization, which I'll share with you later, once I've modified, a few mistakes, to have the best possible rendering.
Instruction
Step1: Take a form to perform your test



To make my test grid, I decided to go for the simplest, i.e. to take a circle, for this I went to the materials library, then basic, you will find your circle.
You can also take it in form, but I don't advise you to.
Step2: Putting this shape into deep engraving



It is very important before any other step, to switch your element from outline engraving to deep engraving, because once you have made your grid, you will not be able to change and therefore, you just have to erase everything to start all over again.
To do this, you click on your circle, to your right, the programming is displayed, you see that the cursor is on outline engraving, click on engraving, to put it in deep engraving.
So you have seen the change, your circle is full now.
Step3: Adjust the size of your circle
Adjust the size of your circle, don't make it too small, otherwise we won't see the color differences, nor too big, so that you can make your test grid correctly, if your material is large, you can make large shapes, but don't overdo it, you're going to waste materials.
Step4: Go to the app to make the matrix




Now that you've done the adjustment of your circle, let's move on to creating the test grid.
Go to application, then to material test matrix, clicking on it, a window appears and your test grid starts to create.
You just have to set up your window, to show what you are looking for.
Step5: Change settings
Fill in the power, speed, spacing between circles.
Important information, the elements are read in columns.
You will set the minimum, maximum, and spacing in the same column for power and in the same column for speed.
You will also choose the number of columns and rows you want to test, I advise you to add as many rows as possible, to try to have round values, easier to remember and program.
Then click done, to validate the list.
For example: here, I put as parameters <
p style="margin-left:16px;">power: mini: 5, max: 65, spacing: 1 andspeed: mini: 5, max: 80, spacing: 1.
with 9 rows and 6 columns.
Step6: Adjust the size of the grid to your stand
Adjust the size of your test grid, depending on your material, you just have to place the test grid on your material (thanks to the camera) and you enlarge or shrink accordingly.
But keep in mind, don't make it too small.
Step7: Set up your device

You don't have to make any settings, because when the circles were created, the programs were created at the same time and fortunately.
You just have to check that you have different parameters that are displayed on the right with different speeds and powers.
You must have as many programs as circles.
Step8: Launch your device
Once you've checked everything, all you have to do is launch the device and monitor it.
Step9: Collect your media
Once your device has finished working, go and retrieve your material, examine it and find the parameters that suit you, in the range of colors.
Step10: Save your settings


Once you've chosen the settings that work for you, you can make a text with writing or another shape, to be sure.
Once everything is ok, save the settings.
To do this, click on the button with the parameters you like, the setting appears, click on the floppy disk, a window opens, put the word or text that will help you find this setting and click on submit.
Your setting is saved.
Step11: All you have to do is create
Now that you've saved your settings, all you have to do is apply them to your creations.
