To design this notebook you just have to follow the following steps: 

• First of all we will have to insert a rectangle the size of the notebook that will help us to make the design adapting it to the size we really have. 
• Then we will insert the text using different fonts. We place it in the space we have. 
• Then we will insert the drawings we want to put in. We place them in the space. 
• When we have everything we are going to center it and then group it. 
• We select the shape of the notebook and the drawing and center it. 

Turn on the Xtool and insert a piece of cardboard. (This step only needs to be done if your Xtool doesn't have a camera, as is the case with the D1 pro.) We're going to remove the inner drawing and leave only the shape of the notebook. We are going to choose "absolute coordinates"  (don't forget since this step is the key for the engraving to come out well in the place we want) and we choose to mark. We click on start. 

Once the machine has marked the drawing of the notebook, we are going to place it in that space. It is advisable to use a little masking tape on both sides to fix it to the cardboard so that it does not move during engraving, thus damaging it. It's important that you adjust the height of the laser as well. 

Now we're going to do the opposite, we hit the back arrow to retrieve the drawing and now we erase the shape from the notebook. We hit record and start. 

We let the machine record the notebook. 

Once the machine finishes engraving we have the notebook ready and nothing else would have to be done. I brush the entire surface to clean it a little. 

You can take out the test-tube keychain and personalize a pencil with the name, this way you will have a complete pack.
