Information

      Virginia-lovers show off with a personalized faux leather patch. Add to your hats, jackets, backpacks. Your imagination is your only limit.

This design requires additional fonts to be installed. Please see Instructions.

Instruction

Step1: Prepare the patch

Prepare the patch by ensuring it is free of debris. Wipe it down with a damp (not wet) towel and allow to dry completely. Isopropyl alcohol can also be used, as it will dry quickly.

Place the prepared patch on the center of your laser bed.

Step2: Customize the XCS file

Download the font: License Plate USA from https://www.dafont.com/license-plate-usa.font

Download the font: Caxton from https://font.download/font/caxton-bk-bt

Open the file in XCS.

Customize the text to fit the size and shape of your patch.

Step3: Process the XCS file

Select Framing to ensure fit and positioning.

Select Process. The patch should finish in less than 2 minutes.

Step4: Cleaning

Using a damp (not wet) cloth, wipe any char present from the patch.

Step5: Apply the patch

Be sure to follow the manufacturer's heating directions for applying the patch.

Heat press: Preheat the heat press to 360 degrees F. place the path on the desired location. Cover with a sheet of parchment paper. Press for 20 seconds.

Household Iron: Set iron to Cotton. Do not apply steam! Cover with a sheet of parchment paper. Press for 30 seconds.
