Information
You will need brass; I made it from a small circle, see photo. We wanted a smaller tag for the tomcat because he doesn't want the usual ones around his neck. We recently got an F2, and this setup worked for us on this 1mm thick brass with 6 passes. The tomcat's name is Gucci, and the logo is included just for us to test the material consistency across the surface and see whether it will twist or not. In the template provided here, there is only the name, which you can adjust as you like. We also tried with 2mm aluminum, and it can be cut on the F2 Ultra, but it requires 2,157 passes at 99% power, speed 850, and 99kHz, plus an additional 300 passes with the same settings for cutting out the circle. This is in the attached last photo. The brass circles were ordered from AliExpress.
Finally, a matte finish was done with the same parameters but adjusted to 3000 kHz.
If it doesn’t work on your brass with these settings, just add more passes for the cut.
We wish you lots of success and many cats and tomcats with these tags. Good luck with your work.
