Insert your chosen material into your laser.  Measure the distance and mark the processing area of your material. Move the images inside the processing area, select Frame to check that  the laser moves in the correct area.  Once you are happy that everything is framed correctly, Press process and begin cutting the design. 

Once all the pieces have been cut you can paint or stain them to your liking. I've just painted the flowers different colours in my example but you can paint or stain them however you choose.

After your paint is dry you can begin to assemble your pieces. I've cut up the pieces of the scrap board and used the offcuts that mach the bottom side of the heart as a jig. I used all 5 pieces and glued them together. You don't have to use a jig to join them together but it made it easier for me to line them all up. 

You can glue the pieces together with wood glue, super glue or double sided tape. Make sure to do a dry test first when putting the pieces together, that way you can see which pieces you want at the front and which ones you want at the back. Once all your pieces are glued together, use some clamps to hold them while drying.
