This is an adaptation for the xtool F1 from a free project found here: https://vectorsart.com/multi-layer-wooden-3d-desk-decoration-for-laser-cut-free-cdr-vectors- art/ I used the extension and modified the model to fit 3mm MDF
I love lightbox so I searched a paper project to do one. I found a project but the conception was not easy for me and I decide too made it with wood.
To start, I downloaded the CDR file by following the given link. I then exported in SVG with Libre Office Draw (see picture) to use it in XCS.
In XCS I mesured the width of a groove. It mesures 4 mm while I have an MDF thickness of 3 mm. I then select all the elements and I apply the factor ¾ to one of the mesure, keeping the ratio.
So my files is the right size for the thickness of 3 mm and luckily it's perfectly adapted for the F1.
I cut the files according to the mentionned parameters. The slide extension is very pratical.
After having painted the different parts, all that remains is to assemble them on the support, respecting the order of the numbers in the photo. To finalize everything we add the 2nd base at the bottom. Here is the finished project. You are free to paint it or leave it raw.
