I wanted some simple storage tubs to organise small items in the workshop so I designed and made this box using 3mm plywood.
Instruction
Step1: Designing
This is a simple design made using rectangles and the combine, node and corner tools to crate the finale shapes.
I designed the box this size so that it can be made from two sheets of A4 sized plywood.
Step2: Personalise
I added my logo to the front of the box but this can easily be deleted from the design and replaced with something personal to you.
Step3: Cutting
To make this box you will need 2 pieces of 3mm thick material that are at least 200x300mm.
These settings are for the xTool D1 Pro 5w using 3mm birch plywood.
Step4: Assemble
Start by taking the bottom section and inserting the tabs into the slots on one of the long sides then slot the two short sides into place and finally add the final long side.
These pieces should hold together but wood glue can be added to the joins to add extra strength.
