The V8 Capsule Engine is a unique coffee pod holder designed in the shape of a classic V8 motor. Made from MDF and assembled from multiple layered components, it combines mechanical aesthetics with practical function. The capsule holders are integrated into the engine structure, while engraved gear and piston details create an authentic engine look. Both decorative and useful, this piece is perfect for coffee lovers with a passion for cars, workshops, or industrial-style interiors. It serves as an eye-catching display while keeping your coffee capsules organized and easily accessible.
Instruction
Step1: Laser Cut All Parts
Laser cut all MDF components of the V8 capsule holder.
Step2: Assemble the Capsule Containers
Glue the capsule holder parts together:
Start with the lid section, then attach the side piece, followed by the bottom piece, and finally the fourth wall.
Repeat this process to build the second capsule container.
Step3: Attach the Base to the Engine Side
Glue the base plate onto the side section of the V8 engine body.
Step4: Mount the First Capsule Holder
Glue the first capsule container onto the base.
You can already attach the decorative rings that frame the capsule openings.
Step5: Add the Second Capsule Holder and End Piece
Glue the second capsule holder in place, then attach the opposite end piece of the V8 engine.
Step6: Attach the Second Cover Panel
Glue the second side cover onto the capsule holders and the base plate to enclose the structure.
Step7: Attach the Gear Details
Glue the engraved gear shapes onto the piston covers of the V8 engine cladding.
Repeat this for both sides.
Step8: Complete the Engine Look
Glue these decorated panels to the front and back ends to create the V8 engine appearance.
