Information

This compact laser‑cut organizer is designed for coffee lovers who want their daily tools neatly stored and ready to use. Built to hold a hand grinder and the OutIn Nano portable espresso maker, this project creates a dedicated “brew station” that fits beautifully on any countertop. (I didn't have an OutIn Nano to add, but it would sit in the third section that is empty)

The design features clean lines, layered construction, and a warm wood aesthetic that pairs perfectly with modern coffee gear. A decorative “Coffee” cutout adds personality, while the divided compartments keep everything secure and easy to access. Whether you’re grinding fresh beans or pulling a quick shot on the go, this organizer keeps your essentials organized and your space clutter‑free.

Perfect for makers who enjoy functional builds, giftable projects, or upgrading their home coffee setup. All pieces are laser‑ready and beginner‑friendly to assemble.

The first step is to set up the design for processing on your laser.  I have positioned all parts to fit on a single 12x12" sheet of basswood plywood.

After cutting out the parts. I applied a coat of stain to darken the wood.  One coat was sufficient.  Next let this dry.

To begin the glue up, start assembling the base and the four dividing triangles.  The two dividers in the middle will need glue on both sides of the finger joint.

Next, glue the charging cable holder in place. I laid the organizer on its back and put a scrap piece of plywood to support the stem as i added the three small parts of the wire organizer. Then add the larger part to create the cable holder.

Step5: Glue on the raised letters

Next glue the letters on the score lines.  Please note that the E's have a little bit of overlap, so the E with a notch is the one on the right.
