Laser Cut Wooden Valentine Letter and Envelope - Valentine's Day Letter with Custom Note (All Two-Sided)

Please watch the linked video for detailed instructions and tips. You will be able to easily customize the front and back of the envelope and the letter, if desired.

Load a piece of basswood plywood and secure, ensuring it is level. 

Open the cut file or the XCS into laser software and set all purple items to score, blue to engrave, and red to cut.  

Customize the file: you may choose from the provided options or customize the front (the back of what is shown in the picture) or add your own. Please note that no customizations allow this file to be shared as a digital creation.

If using the M1 Ultra, auto-measure, mark the processing area, and set the parameters for score, engrave, and cut. Process the envelope, 2 spacer pieces, the letter, and the heart charm. 

Flip over the letter after the first processing and customize the back (no need to remark the processing area). Process the flip side. 

Remove all pieces, wipe soot, and sand, if necessary. 

To assemble, place the front of the envelope backer piece on the table. Glue the two spacers on top of the each, aligned with the bottom of the envelope. 

Glue the top section of the envelope onto the backer and the heart charm in the center. Slide in the letter, add a ribbon, and your laser cut wood letter project is done.
