Information

      This is a simple box with a secret compartment unlocked by moving the side decorations forward. The design can be modified or expanded. Adding decorative detail to the front and back would conceal the tab from the false bottom.

Instruction

Step1: Build the secret compartment and the locking pieces.

Glue required.

Carefully note the orientation of the locking pieces. It's easy to install one upside down.

Step2: Build the main box and insert the locking pieces

Insert the locking pieces (decorative side pieces) and glue on the collar. It may be easier to do this before gluing the right and left sides in place.

Double check the orientation before gluing the collar on to the locking arm.

Test that everything is moving smoothly.
