Drinking Reindeer Tag and Leather Tab - Two Sizes and Two Styles

Open the file and choose your desired sizes and styles. Remember to turn the output off for whatever you do not want to process / set up. 

Notes: 
1. I used 3M on the border piece, however, you can use glue and process the tag and border both at once.
2. The engraving layer also has a score layer to ensure a clean, crisp look to the finished piece.

Place the basswood plywood into the laser and secure so that the material is level. Note: You can run the engraving masked, however, I prefer this unmasked for an even engrave. 

Enter settings (M1 Ultra 10 watt engraving settings 70, 130, 1, 120 and cut settings 90, 5, 1). 

Process the piece, use compressed air or a piece of masking tape to remove excess soot, and clean the edges, if needed. Spray seal then engraving or scored reindeer names. 

Place the basswood plywood with 3M backing into the laser and process using slightly more power (93, 5, 1). Clean edges, if needed.

Place the laser safe leather into the machine and engrave merry at 40, 130, 1, 120 and cut at 70, 100, 1. Use a piece of masking tape or compressed air to remove soot from the engraving and spray seal. 

Remove the 3M backing from the border and place onto the reindeer names. Add a cord and the leather hang tab.
