I've been experimenting with low relief engraving and have discovered a passion for steampunk designs. Recently, I decided to create a new style of coaster that still incorporates these steampunk elements. This way, if you've already created my previous steampunk Santa, you can easily add this new piece to your collection.

Change the original image into a greyscale and invert the image. Move on to next step for settings

Greyscale 100, Invert image. Sharpness to 50. Brightness to -14 (negative), Contrast to 31. Set these numbers if you are using an S1 20w, if not adjust to meet the needs of the machine.

I have found that using Atkinson for low relief engraving provides more detail. If you haven't tried Atkinson before, I highly recommend you give it a try for low relief engravings.
