1. Materials Needed
3mm plywood sheets
Wood glue (fast-setting recommended)
Sanding sponge (optional)
Weight or clamps for pressing during drying
2. Cutting Settings (xTool S1 – reference)
Cut:
Power: 95%
Speed: 6 mm/s
Passes: 1
Engrave (if included):
Power: 80%
Speed: 200 mm/s
Passes: 1
(Adjust based on material quality and airflow setup.)
3. Assembly
This reindeer bauble consists of three layers:
Layer 1 – Base Circle
Place the bottom piece flat; this forms the background.
Layer 2 – Forest Background
Apply a thin bead of glue. Align carefully so all trees sit in the correct cutout position.
Press for 1–2 minutes.
Layer 3 – Reindeer Silhouette (Front Layer)
This top layer gives the ornament its full 3D depth.
Apply glue sparingly and align the circle borders so no offset appears.
Tip for a stronger 3D effect:
You can cut the front layer twice, mirror one copy, glue them back-to-back, and place it on top. This removes any “burned edge visibility” and increases the thickness for a premium look.
