Chibi Companions — Standing Wood Characters

      Bring a little heartwarming charm to any shelf, desk, classroom, or playroom with this set of chibi-style wooden companions. Each character is laser-cut from ½” select pine, thick enough to stand on its own and sturdy enough for display, imaginative play, or gifting.

These characters were originally designed as part of a modern chibi art series, created right here in this workshop. Each figure features simple, adorable silhouettes — kids, puppies, kittens, and even a tiny dragon — all crafted with clean lines that pop beautifully once engraved.

After cutting the pieces on the xTool P2 (though any xTool machine works great), each character was lightly cleaned with rubbing alcohol and sealed to bring out the natural warmth of the pine grain. The result is a simple, joyful project that delivers a lot of charm with very little fuss.
