「The other day, I stumbled upon a tattered old leaf tucked away in a book—and coincidentally, Wang Wen’s Lonely God was playing in my headphones.」
That perfect moment instantly inspired me to make a little merch for my favorite post-rock band!
The design is from AImake Style: Gothic Cutting. I found this style is perfect for creating hollowed-out cutout patterns.
Instruction
Step1: Use AImake
Actually, the 1st prompt that I try was terrible😂 Cuz the AImake since don't know how to spell the correct character😂
So I remove the character part, just use the patterns. And find the band logo in Google.
Then use the background-removed to make sure the logo turn into transparent background.
Final Step here is to put them together in xTool Studio.
Step2: Click 'Process' !
I forgot to record the processing process because F2 was really too fast; it had already finished processing before I could take out my phone 😹
Oh right! Don't forget to stick masking tape on the upper and lower parts of your leaf before processing, and try to keep the leaf flat. Otherwise, you'll see your leaf flying around inside the cover 😹
But my parameters should be able to cover most leaves of moderate thickness, and you are welcome to share with me the parameters that you think work better!
Step3: Mission accomplished!
The level of detail is extremely high, and the veins of the leaf fit perfectly in the hollowed-out pattern! I'm going to make a transparent display frame to preserve it!
