Information

A layered fox shaped art piece. The layers produce a forest scene. Painting them in orange / brown colors adds the fall season element to the design.

Cut out all of the pieces. The image also shows the order in which the layers will be stacked together.

Step2: Paint

Paint the pieces.

I went with a dark brown/orange color which goes increasingly to light orange. This adds a fall theme as well as includes the natural fox color.

Step3: Assemble the layers

Start by gluing two layers together. Optimize this step and glue layers 1-2, 3-4, 5-6.

Then, glue the two of those parts together, so 1-2 + 3-4 and 5-6 + 7.

Lastly, glue both “halves” together.

Step4: Finish up

As it is difficult to perfectly align the pieces, I sand the perimeter of the model once the glue is dry. This evens out everything.

Then, I recommend you paint the perimeter. I chose white color.
