Information

I created this stand to help house all the "stuff" I have for my epoxy crafting. Turns out I have enough stuff to to fill about 4 of these, but that's a me problem. lol
This is super simple to put together and holds quite a bit of weight. It could also be modified using the optional holes and reinforcers in the back panel if you want to hang it up to save table space.

Step1

This stand is super easy to put together.  Most of the pieces have the spot they belong labeled in orange that can be etched on prior to cutting as a guide, but they aren't necessary.  Glue the two side panels to the back and bottom, add the center support, then add the steps using the instructions below:

When looking at the file, the blue layer pieces are the main parts of the shelf.  Assemble them first using wood glue on all joints. The line down the center of the back is there as a guide for the center support piece.

There are optional extra inside supports (green layer) if you feel like your stand will be holding really heavy objects to help prevent bowing of the steps. There are also optional holes/reinforcements that can be added to, or removed from, the back panel for hanging in this layer.

Once your main frame is assembled, add the steps (red layer) then the risers (purple layer), gluing them all in as you go. The steps have a different cut out for the last step (labeled) that needs to go specifically at the bottom.

The last skinny piece on the purple layer can be added to the front bottom edge to hide the gap for aesthetics, but is not necessary for the support of the build.

Don't need the long shelf?  The second canvas has a more narrow 8 inch version of the file for smaller spaces.
