Tractor Geared Toy

Cut out the parts.

In addition to laser cut parts, you will also require a few toothpicks with 2mm diameter. This is a standard diameter at least where I come from. Otherwise you will need to find something with a 2mm diameter to use as axles.

You will require 3x 2mm diameter pins. You have two options, either cut them longer and shorten them once assembled or cut them to size now.

The pins need to be 9mm long.

Insert the pins as in the picture. Do not glue them yet.

Add the gears as shown in the picture. 

Add the top part as shown in the picture.

Next, glue the two clamps to connect both sides together. Make sure the wheels can spin and that the two sides are aligned.

I recommend you glue the pins only from the outside. You must not glue the gears as they should spin.

I simply add a blob of glue and spread it around. It holds well enough for this purpose.

If you did not cut the pins to size before, cut them before gluing.
