2. Check the scale: target height 48–55mm; attachment hole≈ 1.6mm.
3. Laser Flat Mode, 3mm Plywood Material.
4. Cutting layer: 0.01 mm vector contours, without infill.
5. Focus: automatic or 3mm gauge.
6. Attach the wood to the honeycomb (option: masking tape).
7. Frame to check the position.

Recommended settings

- Power 20w: 100 %
- Speed: ≈ 7 mm/s- Passes
: 1
- Air Assist: ON

Cutting

1. Throw the **1st pass**, monitor the cut (never unattended).
2. Let the smoke dissipate for 2–5 sec, then perform the **2nd pass**.
3. Check that the part is coming off. If necessary: repeat 1 pass at slightly faster speed.

Finishing & Assembly

1. Remove the tape, wipe the edges (ISO alcohol). Fine sanding if necessary.
2. Option: apply varnish/oil.
3. Cast on a 6–8 mm ring and hook. Open/close laterally.
4. For a perfect duo, mirror a piece before cutting.

Quick troubleshooting

- Dark edges→ increase speed, keep 2 passes, enable Air Assist, masking tape.
- Does not cut through → redo 1 pass or reduce speed (−10–20%).
- Marks underneath → use honeycomb + wedges.

Safety

- Never leave the machine unattended.
- Keep a water/CO₂ spray on hand.
- Mandatory ventilation.
