Assembly (quick)

1. Dry fit: stack Bottom → Middle → Top using the 2 mm alignment pins. Ensure the engraved pocket on the Top layer faces down toward the middle.
2. Insert one plug into the window area from the mouth side so its sloped face guides air toward the far (downwind) edge of the 6×6 window. The downwind edge (the edge closer to x=26) becomes your labium (sharp).
3. If it chirps but not clean: lightly sand the plug or reduce the windway height by adding a thin tape shim on the Top’s pocket (temporarily) to test.
4. When happy, glue the stack (thin wood glue), clamp flat, keep glue out of the bore/windway. Seal the bore with a tiny wipe of shellac or CA for brighter tone.
5. Pitch goes up if you shorten the bore (add a small wooden stop at the tail) or narrow it slightly; it goes down if you lengthen/open the cavity. Fine tune by shaving the downwind window edge or moving the plug by ±0.5 mm.
