Information

      Because the driving license has been obtained, we wanted to give a personal present to the driving instructor. That is why I designed 2 cars (1 driving school car and 1 regular car. with letters as a toast to obtaining a driving license in Dutch language) and engraved these wine glasses. This way you have something nice and special. The wine glasses are cheap (3 euros per set of 3 glasses)

Instruction

Step1

Clean the wine glass.

Step2

Place a tissue on the glass and sprinkle it with water
Make sure there is no air between the glass and the wet tissue.

Step3

Clamp the glass with the foot in the rottory. If everything is fine, you do not need a support from another accessory across the glass.
Let the machine create a curved profile using the rottory and xcs

Step4

Align the images and text with the frame profile in xcs.
Start the engraving process.

  Due to the use of cheap wine glasses, they can easily crack. That is why we have added an extra step. see stap 5

As soon as the laser starts on the cars, pause the machine and moisten the tissue again. (Be careful not to move/change either the laser head or the rotor or the glass.
After that stap, resume the engraving process.
