![[Laser cut and engrave] Gingerbread Man and House](https://image-res.xtool.com/resource/xtool%2Fcommunity%2Fmaking%2Fc5c37ff6-bdba-47d8-9a46-16e581c688ed%2FPXL_20231207_225948911_edited_small.jpg?x-oss-process=image/resize,w_1200,h_900,limit_0/interlace,1/format,webp/auto-orient,1)

I had an idea to make a gingerbread house, but then thought, what if it was a gift box with a Gingerbread man inside.
I jumped on to https://www.festi.info/boxes.py to create a 4x4 inch box with a height of 2.5 inches.
For the gingerbread man I used the gingerbread man shape in xTool Creative Space (Click Shape>Festival>Toward the bottom).
I wanted to add some gumdrops so I used a half circle shape (Click Shape>Basic Shape>Half Circle). I added a rectangle at the bottom to stick through the sides. I then added some 2.7mm squares to accept the shapes.
I used rectangles with circles centered on them for the snow covered windows. The candy canes used a rectangle with 45 degree rectangles added to it for the stripes and painted red and white.
I'm super happy with how this turned out. Hope you all enjoy it. I included the design file I used to make this.
