Timber Wolf Deep Engraving Without Depth Maps

The engraving was created using 3 copies of the same image. The second copy has the greyscale reduced by 30%, and the third by 60%.

To achieve a deeper engraving, you can use additional layers. However, you'll need to adjust the greyscale and brightness based on the number of layers. For example, with 5 layers, reduce each by 20%, and so on.

Move each image to a different layer and arrange them from top to bottom, starting with the darkest and ending with the brightest.

Please review the outline layer. I’ve sized it exactly to match the image for cutting, but feel free to adjust it as needed.

Once done, select all layers and align everything centrally, both vertically and horizontally.

Once everything is in place, position your laser and begin engraving.

The process worked well with 3 layers, but if you want a deeper engraving using more layers, I recommend adjusting the laser height to the deepest point after every 2 layers are completed.

To do this, pause the engraving after 2 layers, adjust the height, remove the already engraved layers, and proceed with the next ones.

Good luck, and feel free to share your ideas!
