Green Dragon Fantasy Art Jigsaw Puzzle- Customizable!

         I love jigsaw puzzles but have always hated how fragile they are and how easy it is to lose or break the pieces. Now that I have the xTool O1 and P3, I wanted to start making my own puzzles with the Omni printer and thick acrylic, so the pieces would be impervious to water and could be cleaned if you spilled something on the puzzle. And with 6 mm thick acrylic the pieces are much harder to lose and my cat is less likely to chew them up.    
   I tried using the puzzle generator tools in xTool, but was disappointed. I was unhappy with the procedurally generated puzzle pieces. The pieces were too uniform in size and shape, which takes away some of the visual interest and fun of putting puzzles together.  Also the default cutting path promoted warping of the acrylic, because it created untethered strips that would heat up enough to bend and curl. This would render the final cuts unusable as puzzle pieces.  So I decide to take matters into my own hands and make my own puzzle piece template that could be customized. I also arranged the cut slices into layers so I could dictate how the laser addressed the cuts so that each cut would be tethered to the parent material and the material wouldn't overheat.  
    This project is a proof of concept of using xTool Studio to create puzzles in such a way that the individual pieces shapes can be edited and customized, and the laser cut path can be dictated to make sure the cuts are as clean as possible. I also took the liberty of making box art for this puzzle, so that I could use the O1 to redecorate a box that was left over from another product.
